Welcome to BiRide
These terms (“Agreement”) govern your use of the BiRide platform and services, including electric bike rentals, mobile applications, websites, and other related services (collectively referred to as the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Services.
The Services are provided by Bisaggio Cyprus Ltd, with offices at Morozos 12, Tsokkas Villa 3, 8220 Chloraka, Paphos, Cyprus.
1. Eligibility & Account Setup
- You must be at least 18 years old to use BiRide.
- You are responsible for providing accurate information during registration and for keeping your login details secure.
- You may not permit others to use your account, and you are responsible for all activities under your account.
2. Service Overview BiRide provides premium electric bikes equipped with high-capacity batteries, smart locks, and GPS tracking. Our goal is to deliver a comfortable, safe, and smooth rental experience tailored to your location, whether you’re staying at a hotel, villa, or Airbnb.
Our mobile app (iOS and Android) allows you to:
- Locate and rent available bikes
- Unlock bikes via QR code
- Track rides and manage payments
3. Safety Requirements
- Helmets are strongly recommended and may be legally required.
- Riders must perform a safety check before each use (e.g., brakes, lights, battery level, tire condition).
- Do not operate bikes under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Riders must obey all local traffic laws and ride responsibly.
4. Use of the Services
- Bikes must be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Bikes should not be tampered with or modified.
- You may not transport passengers, animals, or large items.
- The maximum rental duration is 24 hours per session.
- If the bike is not returned within this period, we reserve the right to consider it lost/stolen.
5. Payment & Fees
- Payment is required via the app using approved payment methods (Stripe or others as supported).
- Pricing is displayed in EUR (€) and includes per-ride and wallet options.
- In case of non-return, damage, or improper parking, additional fees may apply.
6. Damage, Theft & Liability
- Riders are responsible for the condition of the bike during their rental.
- Any damage, loss, or theft must be reported immediately to BiRide.
- Riders may be held financially responsible for repair or replacement costs.
7. Suspension or Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services for violations of this Agreement.
- Misuse, fraud, or unsafe riding may result in account termination.
8. Privacy
- Your data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- We collect information such as ride activity, payment details, and device location as needed to operate the service.
9. Modifications to the Agreement
- BiRide may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes are made constitutes acceptance.
- Users will be notified of material changes in advance when possible.
10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
- Any disputes shall be resolved first through good faith negotiation for 30 days.
- If unresolved, disputes will be subject to arbitration under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
